CNN en Español has started broadcasting news on YouTube. Following on from the award-winning shortform series Byline on CNN Fusion, news will now be delivered live on the giant platform.
This new linear news channel launches with a strong launch lineup featuring original series and documentaries, as well as breaking news coverage from across Latin America and Spain.
Features on the CNN en Español YouTube channel include a weekly edition of The View, a daily drive time program hosted by Chilean radio reporter Sergio Roberto, and “Hispanics Have Had Enough”, a daily news program that was streamed exclusively on Hulu for Spanish-language viewers during the summer months.
Univision News correspondent Wendy Williams will also be blogging on the Facebook platform’s Now with Jesse Poizner.
These first episodes of programs are now available to watch on CNN’s YouTube channel. The channel will also feature the most recent news on an original Facebook Live show, CrossCut, which airs on Thursday afternoons. This new show is about bringing together newsmakers to discuss the latest breaking stories, giving viewers an opportunity to engage with relevant debates and discover how it all relates.
The new channel includes 7 million followers across its Facebook pages. CNN en Español is also available on Roku.
