World number five Naomi Osaka is making the rounds of Australia and New Zealand ahead of the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the 2018 season.
The 20-year-old Japanese player makes her world tennis debut this year after lifting the title at the 2017 US Open.
In the World Tour finals last week, US player Madison Keys – a three-time Grand Slam winner – urged Osaka to take New Zealand by storm.

“I’m not doing my own clothing line, I’m not going to stop singing, I’m not going to stop doing volleyball, I’m going to do the final Grand Slam of the year – stay off your phones, stay off your phones,” she said.
Osaka, who beat Nick Kyrgios in New York, has taken part in her own fan event in New Zealand this week.
