The tricksters at Green P lots in Birmingham have come up with another way of drumming up business. Signs at the Green P lots suggest motorists who enter through the front doors will be given free parking, but if they turn up at the wrong time they will be slapped with charges.
People have been tweeting pictures of the signs, which go up for months, with the hashtag #slapthelesson.
Rosemary Williams (@prestonsocle) Took my daughter to a Green P on #NewRoadWay in ward 7 on Sunday, was told to pay for her parking and ran out on her first turn! So effective! #slapthelesson #msnqg
Helen Wright (@SoulEspresso) I visited Green P Park Lane today and was handed a card with a number to be texted in. When I entered it asked me if I wanted a free parking space for my day. So I called the number but was redirected to another number and paid. And yes it’s free parking #slapthelesson #portfolioseavelines #bbcri
All in all, a superb use of graffiti.
